Ac Milan Primavera Advanced into Semi-final After Beating Juve
Goals from Simone Andrea Ganz followed by Mattia Valoti, give Aldo Dolcetti side's a massive opportunity in challenging for this year's Scudetto although another tough match awaits them in the next round as Inter Milan will be Il Rossoneri's opponent.
Eying to finish off their season better than previous year, Milan's youth team were playing in a much more tactical way, not trying to be as adventurous as they usually does in previous stage, acknowledging the importance of the final eight. Both teams were actually very careful but the Rossoneri looked a bit more effective in playing and eventually getting into the score sheet through Ganz' wonderful shot inside the penalty area.
The young striker took on Gianmario Comi's headed assist and volleyed his shot passed Juve's young goalie, providing an important advantage for Dolcetti's man, which they carried until the first half whistle. Nothing changed much in the second period as although the little Bianconeri had much more possession, they didn't really troubled Il Diavolo Rosso's defense, lead by Braziliam-Italian 18-year-old, Rodrigo Ely, who played well on the day.
Midway into the second period, Milan doubled their advantage through Valoti's rebound effort after Comi had his penalty shot blocked by Juve's goalie. That second goal lifted the Old Lady a little bit as their attack became more dangerous but Dolcetti's boys were more than capable in holding things out until the final 90 minutes plus and booked a ticket for an important Milan Derby in the primavera semifinal round.
