Milanello Corner

AC Milan suffered a shocking 2-1 home defeat against newly promoted side Cremonese, in a rather odd game where the opponent simply got all the fortune in front of goal. The Rossoneri were guilty of small lapses in the back, while up front, they can't seem to get anything right, especially their finishing in the final third.  Defense Breakdown  The 2-1 loss against Cremonese can be considered as one of those games where the opponent didn't do much but somehow got a maximum result. They barely created anything significant going forward as Davide Nicola's side only made four shots in total, and two of them somehow resulted in goals.  It's difficult to fully judge the defense as overall they did minimize their opponent's attack quite well, but in the moment of goals, there were some errors that got punished heavily. On the first goal from Baschirotto, there was a lapse of concentration, particularly from Stahinja Pavlovic, who was late in spotting the Cremonese big de...

AC Milan 's decision in appointing Vincenzo Montella as their new head coach is not a surprising thing all for me, as ever since showing strong affection towards Montella's playing style sometime around two-three years back, I somehow knew that he will eventually get the role as Rossoneri boss. Many fans might just figured out that the former Italian international striker was a childhood Red and Black fans with Marco Van Basten as his idol, albeit didn't get the chance to play with Milan as a player, now Il Aeroplanino is set for something much bigger in current Rossoneri future. Being the coach of AC Milan has become such intriguing role, especially after series of changes which haven't occurred since quite a while during Silvio Berlusconi era. My memories have to go back during 1996-1999 for this merry go round in managerial position happens. Having too many changes certainly bring many uncertainties within the club, especially for the players who have now str...

Another season, but similar poor start made by AC Milan in their Serie A campaign as Rossoneri still stranded at 10th place with only 12 points from 10 matches. Albeit its' one point better compared to last season, there's obvious some serious scare from Milanisti, knowing that this season some of their rivals have made significant improvement based on their results, mainly AS Roma along with Napoli. This situation could very well jeopardize Massimiliano Allegri's men ambition to at least finish in top three by the end of this current season.

Massimiliano Allegri 's faith is hanging in very tight rope at the moment as many Italian press suggested that the upcoming match against Udinese on Sunday, could be the final test for him this season. Although this possibility has been denied by Ac Milan 's vice president, Adriano Galliani, but one can't really be sure about Allegri's future, especially after a rather similar situation occurred regarding Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva's departure this summer.
