Will Milan's Patience Bear Its Fruit?

Image
AC Milan have been having a rather mix early part of their new season, notably in Italian Serie A as they already lost five games up til now, despite winning the same amount as well and only drawing just once. Certainly with the amount of money being spent this summer, that number of defeats are quite concerning, but so far the new management opted to remain patient with their head coach, Vincenzo Montella, something that whether some fans like it or not must be done, at least for the time being. Most of their defeats have arrived from other big teams, though apart from the match against Lazio, Rossoneri have actually been able to compete properly with their opponents, but just missing that bit of something each time.

Analyzing AC Milan's Tranfers Target for 2017-2018 Season

Image
After a very hectic year due to work and other personal issues, I finally able to get my writing mood back again. This time is already gearing up for a new season with some early signings already on the books for AC Milan , so lets start analyzing at some potential arrivals or maybe departures, which I gather up from several sources, including those outside of random twitter stuff and crappy media speculation.

Montella Targetting Long Milan Stay, Rossoneri Back for Musachio

Image
Experiencing a rather good season so far with AC Milan , head coach, Vincenzo Montella is eyeing for much longer stay at the San Siro based club. The tactician, who at the end of 2016 won his first title with Milan after lifting Italian Super Cup, stated in his latest interview that he is enjoying himself at Milanello. Albeit his team suffering a slight dip early in the year which puts them sitting seventh in current table, Montella is quite delighted with how his players have shown significant improvement especially in creating strong foundation in their playing style.

AC Milan Midweek Transfer Updates (Thursday, August 25, 2016): Milan Closing On Palisic, Romagnoli Not for Sale

Image
There's some interesting development in this last few days of the summer transfer market for AC Milan as Rossoneri continue their search for new midfield players that can be deployed by Vincenzo Montella. The latest name being mentioned is young Chelsea midfielder, Mario Pasalic, who spent last year on loan with Monaco, though he didn't managed to finish the season playing with them due to back injury. Pasalic has the technical and tactical tool to play Montella's type of football, but his current fitness condition will be evaluated thoroughly by Milan before they signed the midfielder on loan.

Analyzing AC Milan's 3-2 Win Over Torino

Image
AC Milan started off their new season with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Torino, in a game that filled with many positives along with some negatives which is still common considering its just the first fixture of Italian Serie A. It was definitely an interesting match in the end, though that tie can easily turn into a comfortable rout for Rossoneri, but it seems that their lack of fitness level along with that classic mental issues somewhat troubled them near the end. Now lets try to divide the positive along with negative aspect that can be seen from Milan's Serie A opener.

Jose Sosa Looking Forward to Give His Best for AC Milan

Image
New AC Milan midfielder, Jose Sosa , might not be someone that sparks enthusiasm of all Rossoneri fans, but he could very well be the player who can help Vincenzo Montella immediately transmitting his football idea on the pitch. Having the experience of playing with Bayern Munich, Napoli, Atletico Madrid and also Besiktas, the Argentinian did have some problems at the early stage of his career before eventually blooming during his last two years. Now, arriving to Milan at 31-year-old, Sosa hopes that he can transmit his recent maturity and experience to help the Red and Black squad getting back into European football.

AC Milan Midweek Transfer News (Wednesday, 17, 2016): Milan Signed Sosa, Keen on Diawara

Image
AC Milan 's attempt to bolster their midfield have been hitting some problems recently, but they eventually set out their mind in grabbing former Besiktas, Napoli and Atletico Madrid player, Jose Sosa , who supposedly arrived in a 7.5 million euro deal. The midfielder will be wearing the number 23 jersey and is keen on transferring his experience and give his best for the next two years with Vincenzo Montella's side. Already linked with the player since early days of calcio mercato, it wasn't until Milan's offer for Rodrigo Bentacour got rejected by Boca that Rossoneri finally opted to get the player that Montella recommended.

AC Milan Confirmed Preliminary Agreement and Gustavo Gomez Signing

Image
The long awaited and delayed preliminary agreement for AC Milan 's sale to a Chinese consortium have officially been done today, in a sudden rush. This once again prove how fans should not just swallow every rumors being thrown out of the media, especially when those minor reports arriving only because the press were not receiving any latest info. Anyway, Rossoneri's preliminary agreement was confirmed by the club's company owner, Finivest, issuing an official statement which basically said that Silvio Berlusconi along with representative from China, Han Li have signed an agreement for Milan's sale worth 740 million Euro.

AC Milan's Wednesday Transfer Update (August 3, 2016)

Image
Another midweek of transfer update for all AC Milan fans as I have finally find a little bit of time to share some insights and media reports regarding Rossoneri's transfer situation. Nothing much aside from rumors obviously, let's just start with the potential arrival section first.

Milan Boss, Montella Not Thinking About Uncertain Market Situation

Image
Rumors about uncertain situation regarding AC Milan transfer situation due to current potential take over deal which is still stalling apparently doesn't give too much concern for Rossoneri head coach, Vincenzo Montella . Speaking to the media right after their friendly defeat against Liverpool, Montella stated that he won't be forced to think about speculative situation as he is focusing on working with what he got for now. Nevertheless, the tactician remain optimistic with everything as he is in direct contact with the club and already have clear ideas of what he wants.

Milan Suffered First Preseason Defeat Against Liverpool

Image
AC Milan picked up their first defeat in preseason after being beaten 2-0 by Liverpool this weekend in ICC tournament. Rossoneri made some changes compared to their previous penalty shoot out win over Bayern Munich and that new setup, notably up front didn't seem too effective, notably up front where head coach Vincenzo Montella tried Luiz Adriano as center forward flanked by M'baye Niang and Suso. Niang was less effective playing wide compared to the time when he was leading the front line against Bayern.

Paletta Enjoying Montella's Different Approach for Milan

Image
Vincenzo Montella's ball possession setup is indeed something rather new for AC Milan players as many of them never really experience such ball dominant training session even in their previous teams. One of those players who are fascinated with the current approach is Rossoneri's defender, Gabriel Paletta , who admitted that although it's something different from what he normally do in preseason training session, but he is enjoying every minute of it. The Italian international he likes this type of approach that Montealla set for Milan as it's fun an enjoyable.

Menez Leave AC Milan US Tour 2016 Due to Injury

Image
Menez Another injury issue apparently troubling AC Milan in this early stage of their preseason as Jeremy Menez is confirmed to be leaving their training camp in the US after picking up a calf injury during training session. Rossoneri announced that news on their official website, adding that the Frenchman will be heading back to Milanello for further examination. Menez will be joining the likes of Jose Mauri, Lionel Vangioni along with Gianluca Lapadula who all are currently recovering from their injury problems.

AC Milan Weekend Transfer Rumors 2016: Napoli Asked for Bacca to Replace Higuain

Image
The weekend rumors ratter regarding AC Milan started off with Carlos Bacca story as latest report from Italy suggesting that Napoli are now keen on the Colombian striker following strong rumors claiming Gonzalo Higuain is heading to Juventus. Partenopei reportedly have made a 20 million Euro offer plus a player, Omar El Kaddouri for Bacca, but Milan have turned it down as Rossoneri want 30 million Euro or nothing at all. As for the former Sevilla marksman himself, it seems like he won't mind going to Naples as they do offer Champions League football unlike West Ham.

Milan Tricky Start to Their New Serie A Season

Image
AC Milan will have a pretty tough early fixtures in the new Serie A season as they will be facing Napoli on their second match, Lazio in fifth, Fiorentina sixth and Juventus ninth. The Rossoneri's opening fixture itself can be a tricky one as they are playing at home against Torino, which are being coached by Milan's former tactician, Sinijsa Mihajlovic. This tough early games however, could accelerate Rossoneri's transfer process though before the end of August as they surely won't want to have another disappointing season on their hands.

Milan Leaving for US Without Bacca and De Sciglio

Image
In an interesting slight twist, AC Milan squad are heading to their US preseason tour without Carlos Bacca and also Mattia De Sciglio. Notably the bigger news would be regarding Bacca's omission from that called up squad for the states as he has been strongly linked with a potential departure this summer. As for De Sciglio, the player himself is still enjoying his extended holiday following Italy's deep run in Euro 2016 and won't be arriving at Milanello until July 28. From those reasoning, it's very safe for anyone to slightly thinking that the decision to leave out the Colombian international is related with Milan's transfer market.

Kucka Looking Forward to Learn Montella's Attacking Style

Image
AC Milan 's Slovakian international midfielder, Juraj Kucka, finally returned to Milanello last Wednesday, after spending an extended holiday due to his participation in Euro 2016. Soon after getting back into training, Kucka spent some of his time talking to the club's official website sharing some of his views, notably about the chance of working with new tactician Vincenzo Montella. The former Genoa midfielder admitted that he is looking forward to get to know more about Montella's attacking style of football, while hoping that he can further improve under the tactician's reign."I just got back and I am eager to understand Coach Montella's training methods and style of play," Kucka explained.

AC Milan Transfer Rumors 2016: Thursday Report

Image
Several interesting reports regarding AC Milan 's transfer being shared by Italian media, from West Ham United's return in their attempt to sign Carlos Bacca along with Rossoneri's quest in prizing up Juan Cuadrado. Talking about Bacca who has just returned to Milanello and was also named for Milan's preseason tour, an interesting update arrived when West Ham via the club's owner son, David Sullivan confirmed that they are waiting for the striker's answer in the next 48 hours.

AC Milan Announced Squad for US Preseason Tour 2016

Image
Before officially leaving for their US preseason tour, AC Milan have announced their squad for that upcoming ICC matches, which includes Carlos Bacca, Mattia De Sciglio along with Juraj Kucka. Those three players have an extended rest due to their participation in Euro 2016 along with Copa America, but seemingly already arrive or set to arrive tomorrow as they will be leaving on July 22. There's also some absentees, such as Jose Mauri, Cristian Zapata, Gianluca Lapadula along with Lionel Vangioni, all due to injury problems.

Milanello Report Wednesday 2016: Lapadula Could Miss USA Tour, Kucka Back With the Team

Image
A concerning news arrived from AC Milan camp as their new signing, Gianluca Lapadula might not be available for the Rossoneri's upcoming US Tour 2016 as his injury apparently quite serious. Reports from Italian media stating that the former Pescara star picked up an ankle injury and has been working separately from the first team in an attempt to recover from his problems. However, apparently the attacker will be needing more time to recover with prediction claiming he might be available for training with the full squad on August 5, which is right after Milan's final game in the USA.
