Official: Ac Milan Confirm Thiago Silva's Departure to PSG

Although there's been a twist of the tale recently, Thiago Silva's departure from Milanello is apparently eminent as both Ac Milan along with Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the Brazilian defender's departure.

Many fans might still be surprised since not long ago the Rossoneri actually announced that they're extending the ex-Fluminese man's contract, only to eventually sell the center back in the end.

Another big departure is still on the card as Zlatan Ibrahimovic also looked set to join Silva in Paris, with some details left on the deal left. This two players sale have been predicted widely in the last few days as medias in Italy and France were convinced that everything is just a matter of time.

Silva's loss is pretty much the one that Milan fans are disappointed about as he is still in his prime age and technically difficult to be replaced by anyone at the moment. An assessment which somewhat true but it's not something that the tifosi should be crying over since the Italian club's financial situation is not that good, so this fund might be positive for Rossoneri's future.

Reports suggested that Silva was sold for 42 million Euro with possible bonus included in the future, a pretty huge deal for a defender as we all know that that position usually never received high price on the market. It remains to be seen on who will Milan take as the Brazilian's replacement, rumors are strongly linking the Red and Black squad with Fc Porto defender, Rolando, but there are other alternatives such as Davide Astori, who as a former Rossoneri youth product.

Although it's a practically disappointing news for many Milanisti out there, calmness should be maintained as the club will obviously try to find adequate and possibly younger replacement. Throughout the years, the Rossoneri have never really failed to land quality defenders, despite many great names have already stepped out from that majestic place at the back. Soon, another quality defender will rise on the red and black shirt without a doubt, just like not long ago when the Diavolo Rosso snatched Silva in the first place, despite not many fans actually knew how good he was.
