AC Milan Announced Squad for US Preseason Tour 2016

Before officially leaving for their US preseason tour, AC Milan have announced their squad for that upcoming ICC matches, which includes Carlos Bacca, Mattia De Sciglio along with Juraj Kucka. Those three players have an extended rest due to their participation in Euro 2016 along with Copa America, but seemingly already arrive or set to arrive tomorrow as they will be leaving on July 22. There's also some absentees, such as Jose Mauri, Cristian Zapata, Gianluca Lapadula along with Lionel Vangioni, all due to injury problems.

Interestingly the two names that are being left out are Milan's new signings so far this summer, so they will be flying to the states without any new names side from some Primavera players such as De Santis, Nicollo Zanellato, El Hilali and Luca Vido. Obviously, since the tour itself won't be that long, there's no guarantee that the names being called up will all be staying, notable those rumored to be leaving Milanello this summer. This upcoming games on the ICC could be the final straw for head coach, Vincenzo Montella to evaluate the current crop of players, while hoping that once the preliminary agreement with potential new owner being signed, Milan can finally restart their mercato.

That's why fans shouldn't be too disturbed with the lack of new signings as the most important thing now is to see how soon Montella can installed his playing style into the players. Just as we know, despite potential transfer budget under new ownership, it's not likely that Rossoneri will be axing or adding too many names, so majority of the players will still be under Il Aeroplanenino's tenure for this summer. This simply mean that it's more important in seeing how the new head coach are working to implement his system instead of just expecting new names for this short US tour.
