Milanello Report Wednesday 2016: Lapadula Could Miss USA Tour, Kucka Back With the Team

A concerning news arrived from AC Milan camp as their new signing, Gianluca Lapadula might not be available for the Rossoneri's upcoming US Tour 2016 as his injury apparently quite serious. Reports from Italian media stating that the former Pescara star picked up an ankle injury and has been working separately from the first team in an attempt to recover from his problems. However, apparently the attacker will be needing more time to recover with prediction claiming he might be available for training with the full squad on August 5, which is right after Milan's final game in the USA.

Not a pleasing report indeed for head coach, Vincenzo Montella, who is very keen to check out Lapadula working on the tactician's playing system. Aside from the 26-year-old forward, Milan has also lose Jose Mauri for the US tour as the midfielder picked up an injury during Rossoneri's latest friendly fixture against Bordeaux. At the moment, there are still other absentees from first team training such as Keisuke Honda and Lionel Vangioni, who was Milan's first signing this summer. However, both Honda and Vangioni might make the squad for upcoming ICC games as no report of them set to miss out as just yet.

Meanwhile, Milan's midfield setup will be having a slight boost though for their US tour with the return Slovakian international Juraj Kucka. The former Genoa man was given an extended holiday due to his participation for his national side in Euro 2016. Considering Rossoneri might not be making any midfield signing yet ahead of their trip to America, Kucka will surely be a welcome addition for Montella as he continue to instill his football system into Milan squad. Colombian striker, Carlos Bacca reported will be joining the tour as well and defender Mattia De Sciglio could also be another addition.
