Milan v Torino Serie A Match Preview

AC Milan are eyeing to get their first home win for the new season following their 2-0 away victory over Bologna in their Serie A opener. Stefano Pioli's men will be facing a tricky encounter though as they face Torino at the San Siro this Saturday.

Ivan Juric's men have become a rather tricky opponent for the Rossoneri in the past two seasons, though Milan remain the favourite in taking all three points. Pioli will most likely play the same starting 11 that started against Bologna last Monday.

Mike Maignan remains the number-one choice in goal with Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori, and Theo Hernandez forming the defensive quartet. In midfield, Rade Krunic should still start with two summer signings, Tijjani Reinjders, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Meanwhile, for the frontline, Pioli will be counting on Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao again as starters.

Unless there's a last-minute situation, those 11 names will be starting in Milan's first home game for this season. Aside from the starting eleven, Pioli can also count on other quality names from the bench with the likes of Samuel Chukueze, Tomasso Pobega, and Noah Okafor being the most likely names who can get some minutes. Other potential substitutions will depend on the match situation, but Pierre Kalulu, Simon Kjaer, Lorenzo Colombo, Luka Romero or even Yacine Adli might get a shout.

Torino will certainly try to make life difficult for Milan with Juric's man-to-man and pressing setup. The Granata are going to count on Vlasic as the attacking midfielder behind Sanabria up front. The Rossoneri are hoping that their new guns can provide enough weapons to take down their opponent this weekend.
