AC Milan Looking to Complete Young Defender Deal Before the Weekend

 


AC Milan are hoping to complete the signing of Young Boys' starlet Zachary Athekame before the weekend. After securing the signing of Ardon Jashari, the Rossoneri are looking to add Athekame into the squad as soon as possible. 

Milan Hoping to Complete Athekame Signing 

The Rossoneri are not slowing down their market moves just yet, as after completing Jashari's signing, Allegri's side are now pushing to get a new right back. After deciding to step away from Guela Doue, Milan now set their focus on Young Boys' defender, Zachary Athekame. 

 Allegri has reportedly approved Athekame's profile, believing that the 20-year-old has the tools to be an important player for his squad. Milan have reportedly submitted their second bid of around 8 to 9 million euros, and expects an agreement can be struck before this weekend. 

According to the latest media report (via Milannews), Athekame could discuss his move to Milan with his current club's president. The Rossoneri will hope that the deal can be finalised before their upcoming double friendly matches on Saturday (against Leeds United) and Sunday (against Chelsea).
