Allegri Wants Milan to Keep Thiaw Amid Newcastle Intererst

AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly preferred the club to keep their young defender Malik Thiaw amid interest from several clubs, including Newcastle United. The Premier League side have been rumoured to submit a bid worth 30 million euros, but the Rossoneri decided to reject it.

Allegri Keen on Keeping Thiaw at Milan

The German international has been rumoured to be leaving the club this summer, but it looks like he could be staying put. Thiaw was targeted by Como earlier in the transfer window, but he rejected the approach despite there's an agreement between clubs.

Despite continuous rumours, Thiaw continues to work well in the training session under Massimiliano Allegri's tutelage. The German international apparently has worked well so far in the preseason, leaving the head coach pleasantly happy with the young defender's work.

Satisfied with what he has seen so far, according to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, Allegri is keen on keeping Thiaw at Milan this season. The tactician believes that the former Schalke man will be an important figure for the club's defence.

Milan Will Only Consider a Big Offer for Thiaw Sale

Although the Rossoneri are heading into keeping Thiaw at the club, they are not completely shutting down any proposal. However, it will take a massive proposal of around at least 40 to 45 million euros for Milan to consider parting ways with the German international.

Aside from Newcastle and Como, Thiaw has reportedly attracted interest from Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen. However, it's unlikely that those clubs are willing to spend the amount that Milan are asking for.
