Jashari set to Sign for AC Milan, to Wear Number 30
The two-month-long transfer saga of Ardon Jashari, involving AC Milan and Club Brugge finally set to end following an agreement between both clubs. The midfielder is scheduled to sign his contract later today and has reportedly chosen the number 30 for the Rossoneri.
Ardon Jashari to Sign for Milan After Medical
The Swiss is finally close to signing for the Rossoneri as he is scheduled to sign his contract after completing the medical later today. The player will be joining his team's training session once he has completed the contract signing, which most likely be on Thursday.
Despite taking a while, Jashari's imminent arrival brings a sigh of relief for Milan as they get the midfield player they've been targeting since June. After such a long and winding negotiation, the player's persistence finally came through as Brugge agreed a deal worth 39 million euros (including bonuses) for the 23-year-old.
Jashari to Wear Number 30
Ahead of his contract signing and official announcement, reports in Italy also stated that the Swiss international has chosen the number 30 at Milan. That number is the one he has been wearing during his time with Brugge.
The Rossoneri fans will certainly hope that their new signing can continue his positive trajectory at the club. Although Milan have a rather disappointing experience with another former Brugge signing in Charles De Ketelaere, Jashari could carve a different path.
Unlike the Belgian international, Jashari seems to have a different character, but more than that, tactically, his profile is what Allegri needs in midfield. One of the main issues with De Ketelaere was that his profile was not what Stefano Pioli wanted at his Milan side back then.
